Thigh Holster
The Specter Gear Universal Tactical Thigh
Holster is a tactical thigh holster that can be
adjusted to fit virtually any full sized self defense auto loading
handgun currently in common use with the military, law enforcement
and/or armed citizens. Additionally, the holster is adjustable to
accommodate these handguns with, or without, rail mounted lights.
Detailed Features:
This
tactical thigh holster is permanently attached to a
vertically adjustable quick disconnect (QD) hanger strap to suspend the holster below the
belt line and features 2 adjustable 2" leg straps to secure the
holster to the upper thigh.
Constructed from 4 layers of heavy duty
ballistic nylon with a 2 layer 1000 denier cordura nylon outer shell,
these holsters also feature an adjustable alloy thumb break snap with a
hook and loop closure lockout strap to prevent thumb break operation
during vigorous activities, such as rappelling or low crawling.
The vertical hanger strap is
constructed from 3 layers of heavy duty 2" scuba webbing with hook
and loop adjustment pads allowing approximately 6" of additional
drop adjustment. The vertical hanger strap also features a heavy duty 2" side release buckle which allows for rapid removal
or attachment of the holster without having to remove your
belt.
The fully adjustable double leg straps are made with comfortable,
yet durable, 2" webbing with heavy duty side release buckle
closures and heavy duty elastic loops to allow for expansion of
the thigh straps during movement. The leg straps also feature 2
rows of imbedded rubber stitching on the inside to prevent
shifting and movement of the holster. Both leg straps are
removable and the vertical hanger strap features 3 channels for
routing the attachment straps to insure a perfect fit for the
user.
A spare magazine/multi
tool/folding knife pouch is attached to the spine of the holster.
Standard format
Removing the quick
release buckle and the upper leg strap
allows the holster to be worn in a higher mid-rise format.
